Export re-records the clip, so it takes about as long as the trimmed section plays.
Two things worth knowing.
Browsers only grant camera and microphone access on a secure page. Opening this file directly usually works in Chrome and Edge; if the browser refuses, serve the folder over http://localhost and open it from there.
Export re-encodes by replaying the clip through a canvas, so a 30 second trimmed section takes roughly 30 seconds to write, and changing speed also changes the pitch of the audio.
MP4 export depends on the browser: Chrome and Edge can write it directly, Firefox cannot and falls back to WebM.
Single file, no libraries, nothing loaded from the internet. Recording uses MediaRecorder; editing draws each frame to a canvas and records that.
